History
Splendors of Africa was founded in 2010 as a social enterprise dedicated to promoting and facilitating impact voluntourism. The organization pivoted shortly thereafter and created dynamic partnerships to uplift communities through education, with the aim of creating a world where all people have opportunity and capacity to participate in their social, economic and environmental destinies. We have continued to focus on creating sustainable solutions for education, and community development.
Team and Leadership
Splendors of Africa is governed by a board of directors and led by our founders, Alice Thomas (CEO) and Stephen Thomas (President). Our team is made up of dedicated volunteers and professionals with a wealth of experience in education and community development.
What We Do
